Sue Orrell Barbara Cate Etta Jean Smith
Sue OrrellSue Orrell first began writing professionally at the age of sixteen. Her weekly columns appeared each Sunday in her hometown newspaper, The Winston-Salem Journal and Sentinel. She continued writing during 27 years in the travel industry. This included training materials, sales manuals, and speech writing for senior officers of a major air line. While teaching part time in the Travel Career Development Program for the State of Florida, Sue recognized a need to expand the knowledge and interest in travel and landmarks. Sue lives in Orlando, Florida, but still considers North Carolina home.
Barbara Cate
Barbara Cate is a visionary artist whose work is based on myths, legends, and inner journeys. She has exhibited her art in many California galleries. Her work is currently on display at the Isis Rising Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Barbara has illustrated several books and resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Etta Jean Smith
Etta Jean Smith spent her childhood in East Tennessee but moved to Florida as a young adult. A writer/editor of creative, marketing, and technical materials, Etta Jean also writes poetry. She is the author of a chapbook titled Poems from a Mid-Life Crisis. Her poetry has been published in newsletters, periodicals, and anthologies. Etta Jean is delighted to be working with childrens books.
